How much do laser services cost?

Pricing for laser engraving, marking, and cutting varies based on several factors, including design complexity, material type, project size, and production time. Simple projects—such as basic text or small logos on common materials—are typically more affordable, while larger or more detailed designs and specialty materials may increase the cost. Additional fees may apply for custom artwork, setup, or bulk orders. Because every project is unique, we recommend reaching out for a personalized quote to ensure accurate pricing.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes, we offer discounted pricing for larger orders. High-volume projects are considered mass production, and you can learn more on our Mass Production Services page. If each item requires individual customization—such as different names or designs—an additional per-unit fee may apply. Please contact us for detailed bulk pricing or to discuss your specific project needs.

What’s the difference between laser engraving, cutting, and marking?
Laser engraving removes material to create a recessed, textured design. Cutting goes all the way through the material to create separate pieces or shapes. Marking changes the surface—such as altering the color or finish—without removing material, resulting in a smooth, permanent mark.
What materials can be laser engraved or cut?

We work with a wide range of materials, including wood, acrylic, glass, metal, leather, and select plastics. Each material has its own capabilities and limitations depending on whether it’s being engraved, marked, or cut. If you have a specific material in mind, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to review it and recommend the best approach.

What is the maximum size you can engrave or cut?
Our primary laser has a working area of 40” × 28”, with up to
25” of vertical clearance. This allows us to handle a wide range of items, including larger pieces like guitars and similar-sized projects.

For items that exceed these dimensions, our equipment features a
pass-through system, enabling us to process longer materials by feeding them through the machine. If you have a unique or oversized item, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to review and find the best solution for your project.
How long does a typical project take?

Turnaround times can vary, but most projects are completed within
3–5 business days. Timing depends on factors such as design complexity, material availability, and confirmation of full payment. If you’re working with a deadline, feel free to reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate your timeline.

What file formats do you accept?
We accept AI, EPS, PDF, and SVG files for the most accurate and efficient engraving or cutting. Raster files such as PNG and JPG can also be used, but they may require additional design time and could result in lower-quality output depending on the image.
Can you engrave photos or complex designs?

Yes, we can engrave detailed images and intricate designs with a high level of precision. The final result may vary depending on the material used, as each surface responds differently to the engraving process. We’re happy to review your design and recommend the best material for optimal results.

Can you engrave on curved surfaces, like tumblers?

Yes! We can engrave on curved surfaces—such as tumblers and other cylindrical items—with excellent accuracy using a precision rotary attachment. Some limitations may apply based on the item’s size, shape, and material, so feel free to reach out and we’ll be happy to review your project.

Do you offer color options for engraving?
Laser engraving itself typically removes material or alters the surface color. However, we do offer color-fill options after engraving on many products to add contrast and enhance the final look. Let us know your vision, and we’ll be happy to recommend the best option for your project.
Can I provide my own material for engraving or cutting?

Absolutely! We’re happy to work with customer-supplied materials. Each item will need to be evaluated to ensure it’s safe and suitable for laser engraving or cutting. You’re welcome to ship your materials to us or arrange a local drop-off. Please contact us ahead of time so we can review the details and guide you through the process.

Is laser engraving and marking permanent?

Yes—laser engraving and marking provide a long-lasting, permanent solution for adding designs, logos, serial numbers, or names to your items. The process creates a durable mark that resists fading, peeling, and everyday wear, especially on materials like metal, wood, and glass.
